SOMEONE SAY 21 DAYS, SOMEONE 66 OR EITHER LONGER
I don’t know if you have ever heard, but some theory suggests that it takes 21 days to form a new habit in our life.
There are so many studies to support this theory that you can form a new habit in your life by doing it consistently for 21 days.
So if you start to run today for the next 21 days, it’s possible you will carry on to do so.
Look, I start to do the same with this blog, I carry on for 21 days consecutive writing every day something, and now I cannot stop.
Honestly, I think 21 days it’s too short, and either some studies suggest it takes 66 days minimum to change our habit.
Be honest, it’s a magic number and a great moment because it could be as well 21 days (or 66) without smoke a cigarette or drink alcohol.
What about from 8th of March till 2nd of June?
If I’m not wrong is 87 days!
This is all the time I Have been in Lockdown. Went out just a few times to buy food. Nothing else.
Has my habit changed? Yes, for sure.
When I go around, I could see not just me has changed. Even people who don’t want to admit have changed.
THIS IS OUR NEW HABIT
Don’t scare of it.
