“Venice is the most romantic place in the world but it’s even better when there is no one around.”

Woody Allen is an American director, writer and actor.

Every time I think of Venice he comes to mind.

I don’t know exactly why, but it is and it will probably be forever. Fact is that the title of my post is one of his quotes about this Italian town.

I’ve always considered Venice one of the most beautiful and magical cities in the world and I’m never tired of visiting it. I don’t even remember how many times I’ve seen this town in my life.

There are endless declarations of love on Venice by anyone who has seen this splendid city at least once.

My declaration of love for Venice is expressed through the photos I’ve always taken. I leave the words to people like Woody Allen or Friedrich Nietzsche that you can read below.

“At the bridge I stood
lately in the brown night.
From afar came a song:
as a golden drop it welled
over the quivering surface.
Gondolas, lights, and music —
drunken it swam out into the twilight.

My soul, a stringed instrument,
sang to itself, invisibly touched,
a secret gondola song,
quivering with iridescent happiness.
— Did anyone listen to it?”

It wasn’t an easy love for Pink Floyd. The film impressed me, and I was curious, […]

Priti Patel is the daughter of immigrant parents. Like her so many people we have in the UK, comes from immigrant parents, especially from the second Indian generation. So many Indians was forced to move from India to Africa in the ’50/’60, and they manage a way to become quite wealthy and make money enough […]

Life Inside Social Networks

It astonishes me when people not only mistake opinion for fact but will talk with phenomenal arrogance and self proclaimed authority. When you literally show them that he is legally and factually incorrect, they still has the audacity to argue as if there is another view. So weird. This is the time we are living […]
